A Flurry of Ever-Unfolding Storylines

Mabinogi-Fantasy Life for PC starts with creating your character. You get to choose from three different job classes, namely Warrior, Archer, & Magician. There are also seven more class options, such as Bard, Gunner, Alchemist, Mage, Boxer, Puppeteer, and Musician. However, the extra character sub-types only become available later in the game.

When creating your character, you can customize everything from the hairstyle to eye color and shape to mouth, gender, age, and even height, all to your liking.

Once you are through with character creation, your journey in the game begins. What you make of it is entirely up to you. There are Non-Player Characters (NPCs) scattered all over the game’s lands. You can stop to have a chat or stroll on by when you encounter an NPC. Every NPC you engage will give you instructions/quests, sending you down one of the very many storylines in the game. Moreover, you have the option of finishing quests manually or switching to auto pathfinder, auto quest, and auto-battle features.

Gather Skills to Grow Your Character

Skills are an essential part of play in this game. As a result, you will need to collect skills as you go to improve the overall performance of your character. Generally, there are three categories to choose from, Active, Passive, & Life skills, all of which unlock when you get to various levels.

Active skills include battle moves like melee, archery, music, magic, and more. You will unlock them upon reaching level 4, after which you can level up your abilities using skill points (AP). Every character gets an allocation of three common active skills and another seven that are exclusive to each.

On the other hand, passive skills tend to improve a character’s mastery of combat. They unlock upon reaching level 85 and come in 25 kinds (accuracy, sword mastery, self-heal, bow mastery, crit, etc.). What’s more, the game allows you to give up to 5 different types of passive skills to a character.

There are also life skills, which boost your character’s survival in the game world. The options include carpenter, blacksmith, cooking, travel, tailor, and healing skills. These skills will come in handy throughout various points of play because you will need them to craft everything from potions to gear and equipment.

• Learn as You Play

The best part of Mabinogi-Fantasy Life is the extensive range of play available. You can engage in daily events, find a pet ally to keep you company, pick a horse or other mount creature to take you from place to place, and even get married at some point. All this, though, can get overwhelming, especially if you do not know how to play. That is why you should pay attention at all times and exploit all opportunities to learn. In particular, take advantage of the tutorials and basics tips that pop-up as the game continues to unfold.

• Enhance Your Equipment Regularly

In this game, every character class receives a choice to wield two weapons at once. For example, you can select the sword and double sword for a warrior, bow and crossbow for archer, flute and lute for a musician, and so on. Whatever option you pick, you should enhance your equipment regularly. Doing so will provide you with mightier weapons and more advanced skills. Consequently, your character will become a force to reckon within the game.

• Switching Weapons Changes Your Class

Another cool feature in Mabinogi Fantasy life for PC is the ability to switch classes at any point. You can do that even while in the middle of a battle. Just assign your character a new weapon, and they will automatically take on the skills of the ensuing class. For example, equipping an archer with a sword turns them into a warrior who can unleash combat moves and melee attacks. Alternatively, wielding a wand to an Alchemist turns the player into a magician capable of casting spells.

You can take advantage of this feature to get out of unfavorable situations in the game. For instance, grab a gun to take down multiple monsters who are in close range, change into an archer when taking fire from a far off attacker, and so on. The game allows you to assign two different weapons to a character, which you can switch between at will during battles.

Many players make the mistake of assuming that active skills are a must-have, whereas survival techniques are the least required. On the contrary, all abilities are essential because you never know where the game will take you and what you will need to progress further.
